​President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi received on Wednesday the Turkish Ambassador to Yemen Fazli Çorman, who conveyed to him a verbal message from his Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gul on the bilateral relations between the two countries.

The message also included confirmation of Turkey's support for Yemen in various fields, including the fight against terrorism, especially at this stage, so as to preserve its security, stability and unity.

President Abdullah Gul noted that the Turkish government is following up with great interest the sequence of developments in Yemen and the successes achieved by the comprehensive national dialogue conference under the able leadership of President Hadi.

The Ambassador also conveyed that Turkish President said that “we stand by Yemen today which we share deep rooted historical, demographical and cultural ties like we did yesterday. Turkey fully supports Yemen in its successful work in this National Dialogue Period”.

In the meeting, the Turkish Ambassador pointed out that there are several projects in the field of electric power that will be carried out by Turkish companies in Aden and Hodeidah, as well as the opening of four dialysis centers in Sana'a, Aden, Hodeidah and Taiz during the coming period.
