4^th Turkish-Yemeni Joint Security Meeting was held in Sana’a, on 19-20-21 August, 2013, between Turkish National Security and the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Yemen within the framework of brotherly relations between the two countries.

During the meeting the following issues were discussed in a friendly and cooperative atmosphere:

• Cooperation on combating arms smuggling,
• Instant exchange of information about terrorism, smuggling, organized crimes and other events targetingtheother party,
• Training opportunities,
• Invitations to international meetings, forums, symposiums.

An Agreed Minutes for the 4^th Turkish-Yemeni Joint Security Meeting was signed for the Turkish delegation by Mr. İsmail Baş, Deputy DirectorateGeneral of Turkish National Police, and for the Yemeni delegation by H.E. Abdul Rahman A. Hanash, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Responsible for Public Security and Police.​

​ Turkish Delegation headed by Mr. İsmail Baş also paid a visit to the Minister of Interior of the Republic of Yemen, H.E. Maj. Gen. Abdulqader Qahtan and held a discussion of the matters mentioned above.
